Your privacy is fundamental to us. This policy explains how FamLedger handles your information, including the wealth management, PAC (Dollar Cost Averaging), and international localization features.
FamLedger is an "offline-first" application. All financial data entered (transactions, account balances, investment details, average cost price, accrued interest, savings goals, date format preferences) is saved exclusively on your device in a secure local database.
We do not have access to your financial data, we do not upload it to external servers, and we do not sell it to third parties. Complex calculations (Net Worth, compound interest on fixed-income accounts) occur entirely locally.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the application will permanently delete all your data unless you have created a manual backup. You can also delete all your data at any time via the "Delete All Data" option in the settings.
To provide real-time quotes for stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies, the app can retrieve market data from third-party providers to update investment prices. The app only sends symbol codes (Tickers) to retrieve market prices. No personal data or information about the amount of assets owned is ever sent to these providers.
Purchases to unlock the PRO version (which enables advanced features like Investment Statistics and Anomalies) are handled securely through the Google Play Store. FamLedger does not collect or store payment data or credit card numbers.
The Backup function generates a file (JSON or CSV) containing your data. You decide if and where to export this file (e.g., Google Drive, Email). FamLedger does not perform automatic transfers or cloud synchronization without your manual intervention.
